CIARAN BRADSHAW ALS HEAD OF EDUCATION VON BIMM HAMBURG ERNANNT

We are very pleased to announce that BIMM tutor, music producer and sound engineer Ciaran Bradshaw has been appointed Head of Education at BIMM Hamburg. Ciaran was previously Deputy Head of Education at BIMM Dublin.

Ciaran has over 20 years of experience as a freelance audio engineer, producer, live engineer and co-writer, working with many renowned producers known for their work with artists such as Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys and Van Morrison. He worked with Muse on their album “Absolution”, which went 3 x platinum in the UK, hit # 1 on the album charts, and earned the band their first Top 10 single. In 2007, he recorded Muse’s two sold-out Wembley shows in front of 180,000 viewers for the album and DVD “HAARP”, which was later named the fortieth greatest live album of all time by NME.

Ciaran, who worked as a music engineer and mixer on Sing Street with Ferdia Walsh-Peelo and Lucy Boynton and Aiden Gillen from Bohemian Rhapsody – was also involved as an additional music engineer on the Frank Sidebottom biopic Frank with Maggie Gyllenhaal, Michael Fassbender and Domhnall Gleeson.

Ciaran’s connection with BIMM began in 2012 when he produced the first BIMM Dublin and BIMM Manchester albums. As a course instructor, he led the validation of a BA (Hons) in Music Production and has been a talented and inspiring teacher for many years.

Ciaran believes that Hamburg is the perfect place for students to start building their network: “There is a lively, diverse music scene with great clubs and live locations, top-class recording studios, a strong label presence and the influential Reeperbahn Festival. The Students from BIMM Hamburg will benefit from the automatic membership in the innovative RockCity network, the great opportunities that arise from BIMM’s involvement in the Hamburg Music Business Association, and above all with the local expertise of the great tutors who are responsible for the teaching got this special first group together, got off to a great start. “
